Good price through lidl breaks. . Good room. no coffeee /tea. Reception staff could have been a bit more helpful BUT on the other hand bar?waitering staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent 5/5 Ideal location for us .We will be back.
Very clean and very cosy. Would definitely recommend
Great stay, everyone very helpful ,easy to access transport to city
.
i
Great deal. 170 for bed , breakfast and dinner. Parking was €10 extra. Great room and facilities
Very clean, but the staff woke us up at 550 in the morning talking very loud. I was a bit disappointed with this. I would recommend if u have to get up early
Excellent service throughout the hotel.
We have stayed in this hotel a number of times, always very satisfied with it . A number of times our room was ready quite early in the day which was a pleasant surprise. Would certainly recommend it.
Great hotel, will be back
Good points: very convenient to M50 and walking distance to the luas. Helpful staff. Bad points: Breakfast was lukewarm at best. Hotel is short staffed and appear to be trying to replace staff with tech. No water on the night we stayed and only 1 person on reception who was completely overwhelmed.
Clayton Leopardstown is a great hotel, convenient to M50 and the LUAS and generally of a high standard. In this instance it faltered. Hair dryer and tv did not fully function in room 505, and breakfast at 9.00am was cold and inedible. This is unusual in a hotel I would generally not hesitate to recommend.
Lovely staff, clean rooms and very tasty breakfasts
Lovely staff, clean rooms and very tasty breakfasts
Lovely hotel in a quiet location, but very close to the Luas. The bedrooms and food were first class, we will def stay here again the next time we visit Dublin
Nice hotel that has easy public transport access to city centre. Great breakfast.
Lovely hotel, great location. Lovely spacious and quiet rooms, Lovely seating area in the lounge.. Car parking charges for residents disappointing.
Lovely Break in Leopardstown Clayton We booked into this hotel for a one night break and family catch up. We were given a room on the first floor. It was big and spacious and very clean, supplied with fresh towels. The beds were very comfortable. My sister said she had a great sleep due to the black out curtains in the room. We sampled break fast the next morning. Plenty of choice. You could have the traditional fry up or a more continental breakfast. The staff were very helpful. We will definitely go back there again for another stay. Thank you Clayton team.
Definitely recommend the Clayton Leopardstown. Comfortable bed and rooms, great quality breakfast and very easy access from M50.
Lovely hotel, breakfast very good. Friendly staff.
Nice experience.
Enjoyed the Hotel Break - Staff very helpful and food is gorgeous. I will be back again and location is ideal.
The hotel was very good.Bedroom was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. If I had a criticism it would be that anybody using the stairs would have difficulty finding the reception due to lack of signage.
Had a wonderful trip for my birthday. The hotel made my stay extra special for me. When I arrived they had a lovely bottle of bubbly and fruit bowl in the room for me. The staff were super friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely be back.
Great hotel, really clean, lovely bar food. Convenient Luas line stop across the road for easy access to the city center. Will definitely return
No complaints
The hotel looks good and have a great customer service!
Hotel is very well situated with easy access to M50 and Green Luas (3 minutes walk). Breakfast is excellent with wide choice of food. Check in and out is very efficient . Continuous improvement is evident on each visit. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.
We had a good clean room with a comfortable bed and great blackout curtains. Bathroom was clean with good towels. We found the duvet a bit too heavy and warm. A lighter duvet would be great. Staff on check-in and in the bar were friendly and efficient. Drinks in the bar were very expensive. Good breakfast next morning with lots of choice and lovely fresh fruit. The hotel was very busy but the staff were very good and coped very well, while still being friendly and polite. Very good value for the price we paid. We would go back.
Very efficient checked in online
The hotel was perfectly situated for getting into the city center (via Luas), the Aviva stadium (via Taxi), and Dundrum shopping center (via personal car). The hotel itself nicely decorated with the main foyer having plenty of comfortable seating and charging points for phones/laptops, however, I did notice dust and cobwebs on shelving, even at eye level. The room was perfect with little complaints, the hot water pressure was impressive. The food on the dinner menu was average, much the same for the buffet breakfast, however, I have little complaints when factoring in the price. Overall, I plan on staying again for my next trip to Dublin.
Great hotel, lovely atmosphere, spotless, amazing staff, very friendly, great service providing a free bus to Leopardstown races, see you all again soon
Good hotel . Good size clean room . Comfortable bed . Good breakfast next morning . Easy check in and check out process . Secure free parking
The room was very nice with a double and single bed, plenty of room. I thought all the staff we met were extremely nice and so helpful. No complaints, I would definitely stay here again.
It was a very clean hotel with amazing staff and a wonderful selection of breakfast!
It’s a very efficiently run hotel with nice spacious rooms & lovely bright lobby area.
Great rooms, friendly staff, excellent food and overall a very nice hotel.
Great location close to public transport. Food is good. Breakfast is great. Just wish they started serving lunch before 3pm on a Saturday. Cheap and easy to find secure car parking. Very friendly helpful staff.
This hotel is very central to the Luas line and the Dundrum Shopping Centre. We stayed there last weekend my sister and I. We were given a room on the fourth floor. The hotel was buzzing and extremely busy, but we were sorted very efficiently at the reception. The room its self was a good size and very clean. The bathroom was clean also and the shower worked well. it was well supplied with towels. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a great nights sleep. We had breakfast in the morning. There was a wide choice of food for breakfast. You could opt for the continental style of breakfast or go for the Irish fry, plenty of choice for the hungry visitor, ready for a days shopping in Dundrum Shopping Centre. I have to say that I have stayed in this hotel many times with my sister and we have always found the staff very helpful if any issues arose. We are looking forward to our next stay there in the summer.
I like this hotel and feel it could be a gem if they could improve on staff engagement with customers....no acknowledgement whilst at bar or at table waiting to be served. A bottle of wine was subbed by ? As they didn't have the one I ordered (my initial choice wasn't available either!) But I was charged €4.50 extra for their choice of wine...spotted after I paid and then there was a very awkward exchange between bar man and waitress in front of me trying to sort refund and why it happened. Also buffet hot breakfast was cold!
Very happy with the hotel.staff very helpful.only thing I say and it's a very minor one.the buttons on the main lifts.numbers are very faded e.g looking for ground floor or 4th floor .hard to see properly
PRE CHRISTMAS MEETUP WITH SISTER We stayed in the Clayton Hotel for one night for our pre-Christmas meetup. We were given a lovely big room on the sixth floor. The beds were super comfy. My sister Janice said she had a great night's sleep and this was endorsed by me as well. The bathroom was spotless. The only thing bring your own shampoo. We had breakfast the next morning. The choice for breakfast is very good. You can have continental or the full Irish fry if that's what you want. The staff in this hotel are very helpful and give very good service to their customers. Would we recommend it to friends yes we would as we stay a lot in this particular Clayton hotel.
While the hotel premises was the usual Clayton standard the staff were not. They were very pleasant but were obviously new and untrained. The location is poor, there are no facilities in the area but as it is right beside a Luas stop that compensated. Breakfast was good, bar food was poor and the restaurant was closed.
No amenities
Lovely hotel and staff, only thing was there wasn't enough breakfast, 2 of the containers were empty and no refills I think one was Sausages and other was hash browns but other than that great facilities
Easy access just off the M50 & €10 for 24hr parking. Luas is just a short walk away, to get to Dundrum SC or city centre
2 minute walk to the Central Park Luas stop giving you easy access to the City without the stress of the car. Good food, great staff, great location, would highly recommend ????
Hotel room and reception staff were lovely and exceeded expectations. The evening restaurant/bar experience ( shortly after 8.00)wasn’t as good as expected. Shared Starter of chicken wings was really good but the vegetables on my main course were not appetising and were left behind . A strange desert of a small circular sponge with some sort of firm fondant like topping was served with a scoop of ice cream in a plastic holder and a blob of cream. Labelled as sticky toffee pudding, it was completely lacking the sticky toffee sauce which is usually liquid and was eaten but disappointed.Service was extremely slow, we requested beer mats but they never appeared.my main was not removed at all , we were not asked if we liked our meal. We had to call a waiter every time we wanted something…water, a drink, desert etc. The meal took about 2 hours in an almost empty restaurant. Breakfast was good in a very busy restaurant. Make your own toast , serve your own coffee, all of a good standard, but no nice soda bread or bread rolls. Cheese and ham empty, crossiants replenished as we were leaving, hash browns as I finished up. But lots to eat, tasty, good quality and staff doing a good job in a busy restaurant. I would definitely stay again but might try somewhere else for dinner.
Lovely staff, very enjoyable stay thank you
excellent hotel
Room smelled. A woman was dragging her daughter around the restaurant Sunday morning. Staff seen didn't do anything about it. One staff member didn't even bother to look tidy his shirt looked like tin foil. Overall not a great experience.
Great location. Breakfast was excellent and full of choice but the evening menu was poor. Overall very happy with my stay!
This was a awful let down, the lamps were broken in the rooms, we could not get any room service due to covid, however this made no sense, we were told mixed signals about how we were Abel to get breakfast for room service than last minute told no.
This is a lovely Hotel. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Lovely comfy beds, spacious room & excellent food. Two minor criticisms - No lunch being served until 3pm which was quite inconvenient & had to go elsewhere. No toilet brush provided in the bathroom.
The hotel was in a good location for my purpose of business and has good parking facilities. The food in the restaurant is very poor and overpriced.
Lovely hotel staff are lovely and very welcome
Room was warm and inviting....the bed was so comfy .. gorgeous bathroom lovely big bath.....food was gorgeous and such a wonderful selection for breakfast....staff in restaurant for breakfast were very friendly...
Excellent hotel 4th stay there in 4 months. staff very good food excellent
Comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Handy location for public transport...
Beautiful hotel well worth a visit totally enjoyed our stay I would look forward to coming back
Hotel was very clean & ran well. Staff were very helpfull only down fall was having to pay €10 for parking & no late night bar after normal closing hours. I would recommend & will stay again.
The service in the hotel was appalling. While waiting for check in to open at 2pm to collect our keys we went to the bar for food only to find it was closed, when we had returned from the city centre at 7.30pm we stopped to get a table and have a drink before bed and we were told there was no tables until 8.30pm, although it was visually very quiet with plenty empty. We were told to seat ourselves in the lobby and someone would be down to us there to take our order, after 25mins of waiting we left for the room where we decided to "click and collect" a bottle of wine to take to the room. This in itself took another 10mins to organise after we arrived at the bar even after being told it would be ready by the time we made it down. Never again.
Very comfortable bed, facilities in room very good. Staff very friendly, choice and service at breakfast excellent.
Hotel great clean staff ???? will be going back food slowly first class ????
Lovely hotel Room was very comfortable Breakfast was lovely Overall a lovely stay
We had a lovely stay, Rooms comfortable and food lovely, would definitely stay again
We had a fabulous stay at the Clayton. A superb location only a stones throw from the Luas. Only downfall was the food in the restaurant was overpriced for what it was. Drinks very pricey also. Hence why we only had dinner here on the first night. Wouldn't put me off staying here again but would dine elsewhere.
Friendly customer service
The hotel was lovely. My only difficulty was when checking in at reception the hotel did not have a record of my booking. Lucky fir me that they were not booked out or I would not have had a room available. They eventually found my booking email on another server and all was fine.
Great spacious room Lovely bathroom Only downfall was room was very warm and the tv light was very bright when trying to fall to sleep no on or off button

Room was a decent size, very clean and bed comfortable.receptionist very friendly and helpful.breakfast room nice and big and airy with tables well spaced out.gym was great for work out during bad weather.well located for my needs and Luas stop nearby but car needed if you have a few places to be . Stay here regularly and would recommend.
Beautiful hotel. Room was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again.
Great, clean room. Reasonable car park prices. Great breakfast. Only small issue we had was no info from the desk or in the room about check out times, restaurant opening hours etc.
The Hotel was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Food was lovely and breakfast was amazing. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely reccomend it.
Bar food would want to be improved on . Everything else A1
The Lidl promotion is excellent value for money. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Would have liked the option to log into our Netflix account on the tv. Only one problem, the vending machine opposite the lift in Reception does not work properly, it only takes coins (no tap or note option), it swallowed our money and wouldn't give out item we selected so we had to go to Reception to sort it out. Loved our breakfast bags at 0600, thank you!
Staff very friendly. Warm room. Great choice for breakfast. Excellent overall.
When we arrived they didn't have are booking which we booked a deposit on and had to wait 10 mind to find the booking then where told to park are car over night in there hotel was 10 euro which wasn't on wedsite when booking and made out they don't us a favour cause its normal 16 a day the price of a pint is very dear 5.80 for guinness 6.20 for pint of larger the food too was very expensive for the small bit ya get and that was pud grub hotel is in middle of industrial estate so not much ya can do unless ya drive or bus it won't be back very disappointed and staff weren't very help full
Room clean and comfortable. Disappointing no kettle / tea/ coffee in room. Staff at reception extremely helpful and friendly
Hotel was clean, great facilities and staff were helpful and friendly with no issues
Very nice and clean hotel. Was enjoying our stay. Very convenient hotel place. Tram stop to Dublin city just 2 minutes away. You would expect this from 4 star hotel. Thank you
Room very spacious breakfast was good the location was good happy with our stay
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was spotless and very spacious. I had a great sleep as the room had high quality black out curtains and lovely comfy bed. Only disappointment was that the room did not have a mini fridge.
Hotel was clean. Very basic no way near a 4 star. Staff were lovely.
Lovely stay, clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful. Very close to the Luas which is really handy to travel into the city centre. Perfect stay
Although I really like this hotel from past experiences, on this trip it felt like there was a massive lack of communication between staff. When we first checked in I asked could I add dinner for me and my partner and was told I can do it that night when I go to dinner. Then when I went dinner and asked to add it on I was told I had to do it at reception. When I told her that reception said that I have to do it here they let me add it on. Then when while we were eating we ordered drinks. We waited around 30 minutes for these drinks before I asked another waitress how long they would be after another 10 minutes she came back and asked for our drink order again which then took another 10 minutes to get to us. We went out that night and when we arrived back at the hotel I added on late checkout until 1 onto my stay with the receptionist. The next morning at 12:20 we received a call informing us that we were meant to check out at 12, it seemed that the night time receptionist never added it into the system. Overall an okay stay but these small things did add up to create an annoyance.
I have stayed in the Clayton Hotel in Leopardstown for many times that it is now like a home from home. The check-in was swift and I was allocated a fine big room, with a very comfortable bed for a great nights sleep. The room was very airy and clean and all Covid regulations are followed in the hotel. I had the full Irish for the breakfast the next morning, which filled me up for the day. Thank you Clayton again for such a nice stay.
Clean modern room. Good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value bargain break. Will stay again with same deal and assurance of no additional parking charges. They are unacceptable
Lovely hotel, room spotless and very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms were lovely beds were very comfy. Food was fantastic staff were friendly and helpful. When we checked in man on reception wasn't overly friendly told us no info at all just took booking name rudely raised his voice when he couldn't hear me and just gave us the room here but other than that an excellent hotel and will visit again
Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and rooms very nice and clean
Good experience. We had a family room with plenty of room for a family of 4. Everything seemed clean and staff were approachable. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty and filling. We requested a quiet room and got one. We had dinner in the bar. The only complaint was that I felt that was overpriced e.g.the only difference between a child meal of chicken gougons was 1 extra gougon and a tiny piece of coleslaw. The adult version was twice the price though. We'd return but eat elsewhere.
Fantastic location so close to luas. Lovely room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Dinner not the best....but edible! Super value for money via Lidl breaks! Will def be back.
We had the Ruby Suite. The room was fabulous with two TV's, Coffee Machine, Dyson Cold/Warm air machine. Staff were very helpful and food was amazing.
Accommodation great, reception at check-in so helpful; dinner in bar just okay and service sooooo slow. Good wee gym room & breakfast great. But seriously, they need to smarten up on the service in the bar, 30 minutes waiting to be served…
Staff at check in very nice. Looks for rooms side by side and we were given these. We got a free bottle of wine in our room with lovely Lily o ,brien chocolates. Breakfast was very good and we will definitely be back to stay. Top marks to the Clayton Hotel in Leopardstown
Very happy to recommend this hotel. Unbelievable value for a very well located hotel with excellent facilities, beautiful buffet breakfast and convenient parking. The room was a good size and spotless. I will definitely stay again.
We booked a room for one night breakfast and dinner included we got the best service from start to finish. Our server Saoirse went above and beyond for us and the food was amazing. The rooms were spotless and beds were very comfortable. We got more than we expected for the great price.
Very pleasant stay in spacious family room
Very pleasant stay in spacious family room
Really great hotel. Clean, comfy beds, great app to use during stay, underground car parking, nice staff.
Lovely hotel. Nice quiet area. Parking was good. Lovely bar for drinks afterwards.
Fantastic hotel, great location, very comfortable, great food, staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us on the Friday night for dinner . Did what I needed it to do. Highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel. Room was cleaned. Breakfast is lovely.. Staff in the Restuarant ( breakfast ) are very nice. Receptionist is not good during check in. But checking out is good..
Very clean and accessible hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. A very good choice for breakfast and child friendly
Ideal hotel if in the area for business. We traveled with 3 young kids.No pool but was nice not to have to fit a swim in too. Great size family room. Lovely decor comfortable. I’d made an error while booking and in the reservation spotted this called me & kindly corrected. Reception lovely helpful. Room staff fantastic. Couldn’t figure out how to book table in bar at night. Order and collect for drinks but no cover on glasses to stop spillages - even cling film would work. Ordering a bit hit and miss but a lovely lady serving our table last night. Breakfast staff & food fantastic. Really felt most staff went over and beyond. Only blip was second morning arriving for our booked table. Our room number checked we were beckoned to a table where a manager with blond hair was clearing the table and seemed really irate. She literally barked at us a number of times, what are you doing, you want a table if 6…... It wasn’t like we walked ourselves to the table we tried to explain we had been called to the table. She loudly ordered us to go wait in the lobby but the tone & manner very rude. We were mortified I did highlight it to management at the breakfast desk and both really did apologise and try to make up for it. On return to the table also said to the blond manger how rude we felt she had been & she was still very abrupt in her manner saying she had been trying to sanitise but that’s a simple 2 words “must just Sanitise table!” anyway thanks to all the other treaty superb staff enjoyed the stay - great value deal
Have stayed many times and the standards have certainly never dropped. Room spotless, breakfast excellent, staff extremely friendly.
service very slow in bar .Ordered a drink very slow.waited about 15 minuits.Meal was even slower.ordered it 8.30ish meal very slow at coming.Got the desert 10.15.Plus bar exstreamely cold. And not in many it.Definitely wont be back.Very disappointed
Fantastic hotel great location for luas into city we will defo be back
Stayed in Clayton Leopardstown over the weekend for a catch-up with my sister. Check-in was very swift as I had booked our stay online. We were given a fine big room very clean with comfortable beds, with a grand flatscreen T.V. The bathroom had minimum toiletries though. Breakfast for me was very good. Juices and fruit portions, and croissants, or the Full Irish if you felt so inclined. We love staying in the Clayton Leopardstown as it is near Dundrum Shopping Centre and it has choices of several eateries nearby. Would I recommend the hotel to friends yes I would? Christmas is fast approaching and we are really looking forward to staying again in Clayton Leopardstown for our Christmas shopping and activities. Thank you, Clayton!
Staff very helpfull. Very enjoyable stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. Good service, excellent breakfast.
Convenient location with Luas just across the road. Comfortable rooms and very pleasant staff.
Lovely hotel, great staff. Felt very comfortable there
I found the hotel very clean and we'll run. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was lovely.
Fantastic hotel , staff excellent , the duvet was way to heavy for this time of year , should be on in October time when colder , the breakfast was first class , and they have a gluten free section ,
I had a very pleasant stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and had a lovely breakfast the next morning.I would highly recommend the Hotel to my friends.
Brilliant deal 2NB&B plus dinner. Great room with sea view. Decent breakfast & dinner
Brilliant stay. All staff were excellent would give them 100 out of 100 for everything
Reception and waiting staff were welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bar area is nicely decorated and breakfast was tasty with a spacious dining room. Highly recommend!
Fantastic stay and free room upgrade. Have stayed a number of times before and always been a pleasure. Breakfast very good and plenty of choice in comfortable setting
Friendly and helpful great location and lovely food both for breakfast and dinner . Also got great bargain through lidl breaks
Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The food was excellent, room was very spacious and comfortable. Public bathrooms were in great state of hygiene. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Honestly couldn't fault this hotel. Will definitely be back.
I stayed only one night but the experience was just fantastic. Rodrigo welcomed us in a very warm and friendly way só the first impact was just great. When we arrived to dinner, everybody was 5*, dinner was quite quickly to be served and in the morning, although I like more a buffet style, we were treated very well. So overall 5* for the commodities and all staff. Very well done
it’s a very nice hotel maids are very nice but bar and service desk aren’t as nice lovely breakfast and really nice people serving it. in the middle of industrial estates so there isn’t much around you, the closest shop closes at 3pm!! requested a room switch as there were noisy students beside our room but we couldn’t get moved. it’s a good price and the luas is 1 minute walk. I would definitely come back again
Lovely clean comfortable hotel.great service and extremely good value.good location very close to Dundrum shopping centre.Tasty breakfast.
Reception and breakfast staff were great, breakfast was good. The bar service was terrible, we felt ignored, our orders were mixed up and we are still waiting for some.
The service in the hotel was absolutely horrific . Waited over a hour for a drink . Staff are not trained well at all haven’t a clue what’s going on . The room carpet was stained . Beds very comfortable but the service in the bar and restaurant was ridiculous. Would definitely never return . The bar was closed at 10:45 and Beacuse the service was so bad I was unable to even fit in much drinks as it took so long . Was on a family trip for a birthday and the hotel definitely ruined the experience.
Hotel was lovely, room was lovely and beds were very comfortable. Service at bar for drinks only was terrible, ordered pint of bulmers and had to send back 5 times as it was completely flat. Service itself was very slow waited a long time for any drink think this was due to lack of staff but bar was not very busy.
Lovely clean and comfortable room. Bar staff are very inexperienced so service was very poor and food was only fair as was breakfast. Badly managed ..nobody seemed to know what they were doing
The staff in this hotel wore so accommodating, the food was amazing and the rooms wore so nice and clean. Anything we needed we received, I would definitely stay here again.
The staff in this hotel wore so accommodating, the food was amazing and the rooms wore so nice and clean. Anything we needed we received, I would definitely stay here again.
Food was excellent and rooms very clean
We had a lovely stay with our teenage children in July. Reception staff were excellent on arrival and throughout. Rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was served to the table and overall, this was of a very high standard and served by pleasant and helpful staff. On our last morning it was a bit haphazard and there seemed to be a staffing problem in the kitchen, but that was one morning out of five. Cleaning and sanitizing for covid-19 was evident throughout our stay, which was very reassuring. The hotel was a great base for our holiday in Dublin/Wicklow. Thanks to all the staff of Clayton Leopatdstown who made our stay so enjoyable!
This was my second stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful. The rooms spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. It was great having luas line running behind hotel as we were able to travel to other parts of city with ease. Only downside was on the second night the opening and closing of the door near our room was prevalent throughout the night and impacted our sleep. The door banged closed Everytime. It was hard to sleep.
Excellent hotel, great value for the price. Breakfast was lovely, dinner was good although the menu felt a little limited (possibly due to Covid). Very well-priced though. Only true downside is the lack of the pool, but it shouldn't be a massive deterrent if you're out and about all day anyway.
Had a lovely 2 night stay in the hotel. It was exceptionally clean and the staff were efficient and friendly. Hreathotel to travel to and from in a good location near the motorway. Would definitely recommend
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
We had a lovely first family staycation with our baby girl in Clayton Leopardstown. The hotel room was perfect - everything was immaculately clean and in working order. I loved the fact the hotel had soap / shower gel in holders rather than the mini ones which are so bad for the environment. Breakfast both days was really tasty and staff were so accommodating and professional. All staff we came across in the hotel were very friendly and professional. I’d definitely visit again and I’d highly recommend the hotel to friends and family.
I absolutely love the Clayton Hotel Leopardstown which in my opinion is a jewel of a hotel situated in an ideal location in Dublin. Staff are amazing especially Sophia and Eric on Reception. Both of these young people are highly professional delivering a professional service second to none with a friendly smile. Attention to detail and care for the customer felt throughout my stay. Food in the hotel is fabulous compliments to the chef and all the waiting staff were excellent. There is a lovely friendly vibe in this hotel and adherence to all COVID measures excellent throughout my stay. I look forward to my next stay and I look forward to seeing the lovely Sophia and Eric again. Thanks for making my stay so special. Regards, Janice
Fantastic location- I had appointment in Beacon hosp- 5 mins away. Got Luas to Dundrum- brilliant. We had dinner- very good and breakfast- excellent.
Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, great food, good location close to green luas line. Will definitely stay here again
Very well located. The beds and pillows were so comfortable , I'd say the most comfortable I've stayed in all over the world. Very family friendly. The staff were very attentive and approachable and displayed a very high standard of service
My self my partner and son (9) stayed here on the weekend we had an amazing time staff Wer so lovly my son loved it he was treated like royalty by the staff will 100% be goin bk for a stay his communion is coming up and he wants to go bk here food was delish room was spotless 5* will be recommending to all friends and family thank you ????
very dissapointed that i was charged for parking... there was hair on the floor in the bathroom when i went in. there was some also in the bin went to clean up the floor so i could have a shower, doesnt look like the bathroom was cleaned very well
We stayed recently in two family rooms along with my friend and 5 children. We were visiting the Enchanted set in Enniskerry which was only a 15 min drive away. The whole experience was fabulous. Philip the Deputy General Manager went out of his way to introduce himself to us and welcome us to the hotel. One of the children with us said he really made us feel special! The rooms were spotlessly clean and really spacious with a large double bed, 2 single beds and a lovely powerful shower. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were extremely patient with 5 hungry small kids. Special mention to Prodan the guest relations manager who was a gentleman and checked in on us a number of times. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple of family break. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. We will be back
Really bad experience overall, waited nearly 2 hours for dinner. One of the meals had to be sent back it was a chicken burger that must have been cooked a day before. The room was like a sauna even with the windows open it was a terrible nights sleep.
I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room, as a result my babies dinner went bad. The kettle also had a lot of limescale in it, rinsed it out a few times before attempting to boil water for my baby's bottle however still found loads of limescale in my baby's bottle and as a result couldn't use the water. The kettles need to be descaled regularly or replaced
A very pleasant stay! Friendly, efficient staff. The room was spacious and modern, well appointed and a very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom too. With regard to Covid, the entire hotel felt very safe and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and served very nicely. My only criticism would be the extreme speed bumps in the underground car park. While I understand the need for them and find it good policy, they really are excessive. Otherwise a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay there very much!
Well run hotel but a bit cold
Fantastic hotel very comfortable and food was tops ???? also standard of cleanliness exceptional will definitely be returning in the future
It was a great trip for my family. we all went to Dundrum Shopping Centre. So Much Fun ! Staff at the hotel were amazing. Breakfast was great & room were very clean and very cozy. Really enjoyed staying there.
There was no room service and had to go down stairs to "collect" food + drinks. To keep your car over night it was an $10 extra ( nowhere did it say that). Please fix
Im going to list good and bad points because there was both. First the good. We added Friday night to our stay quiet late on Friday and didnt get to the hotel until around 10.30pm. The welcome we received was very good and we were checked in in no time. Our room was big , spotless and temperature was just right. The bed was the most comfortable ive ever slept in Location of the hotel was excellent, just 2 mins from the Luas, Central park stop .parking was underground and safe and 10 euro per night. There was a good choice for breakfast, fruits, juices, danishes and fresh cooked breakfast all delivered from the kitchen. Now for the bad: The organisation of some of the staff seemed non existant by the management. Some of them seemed really out of their comfort zone and genuinely did not know what they were doing. Dinner on Saturday night was an absolute disaster. We booked our table at 8.30pm. When we went down from our room , there was a long que to the dining area ,about 6 or 7 tables to be seated in front of us. It was 9.40pm when we were seated ,10.20pm when we got our starter and 11pm when our 2 cremated steaks steaks came out. We had asked for them medium and rare. We were given some free drinks but never experienced a meal so bad. We were told there were some chef issues that night , i think they didnt have one to be honest. Every table had issues that night. I would recommend this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis , shame about the dinner......
Nice clean comfortable room tastefully decorated. Overlooking busy road but with windows closed very effective sound blocking: Delicious meal in evening. Staff very friendly. We enjoyed our stay
Great hotel well set to cater for guest, staff were great and food was very nice
Funct.ional, great quality service and staff. Popular for business
Booked a family roon, very spacious. Was able to check in before 14:00 which was a bonus as did'nt have to leave everything in the car. Stayed one night, was able to leave car in car park until 22:00 the following day whcih saved the hassle of having to drive into the city centre. Luas stop is very close by, easiest way to get to city centre
wonderful time here everyone very helpful very busy hotel would definately return
stayed here on 1st and 2nd december for a winter and shopping break really enjoyed it close to the luas car parking available rooms very comfortable and warm on these cold days We ate in the bar twice and could not fault it will certainly return here. all good
good food , nice hotel, only gripe is the parking charge in the morning
good location , nice food and pool but like before as we were on a package we always felt left behind when in restaurant , two tables served before us but otherwise nice place
Hotel good, notwithstanding room over-furnished with beds and thus lacking space (3No.double beds - 1No.foldout - for 2No.guests). Breakfast fair. Selection of fruit limited, and that of bread very limited. Seating tended to be mostly in corner nearest staff station, and tables for two very close together. Table settings very basic with cutlery limited to minimum. Tea / coffee ordered as guest seated & served very soon thereafter. Result was that hot drink cooled as cereal procured from self service area and subsequently consumed. By the time hot breakfast procured, hot drink cold. (To solve, waiting staff require a little better tact and timing in requesting orders).
3-3.5 stars bedroom double single and camp bed satisfactory for 2+2 breakfast good bar food satisfactory parking in basement at cost located in business park at edge of leapordstown
We stayed in hotel for one night... Our overall experience was good, food was nice, rooms good size and clean.. The biggest minus was the first impression when we walked into hotel and went to reception. We were really looking forward to have a great time, but receptionist didn't even smiled for once and there was no welcome what so ever. We had dinner included in our package and the man giving us the voucher, didn't say that we should book a table in restaurant, as a result we had to wait for table, hotel was busy enough, but restaurant staff was far nicer than the gentleman at the reception. He didn't point out where is the restaurant or bar. That made us feel unwelcome, but everything else was fine.
Although the hotel is under some construction this had no impact on our stay for one night. We had a very enjoyable stay. The meal was lovely and the buffet breakfast in the morning was everything you'd expect.
I booked the clayton hotel through Lidl breaks, however when I got there they could find no booking for me. This was not a problem as the receptionist made no fuss and booked me in anyway. I have stayed here before and found my stay unremarkable....not sure what has changed but something has. All of the staff were pleasant, friendly and very approachable. front of house, restaurant staff, housekeeping and the maintenance man Anto from Moldova....room was good size (615) and had a nice view. the food was delicious too....
very clean spacious room food good staff friendly enjoyed our stay
top class hotel one of the best in dublin
Room comfortable, shower great pressue... the best breakfast spread I've seen in a long time - I've seen 4* with less. Very impressed
We stayed here as a family of 10 for 1 night. There was a small glitch with rooms which was dealt with very quickly and courteously and all was well. The staff at breakfast were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Rooms were warm, clean, comfortable and quiet. Our stay was very pleasant.
A super hotel. Exceptional breakfast. Great family rooms. No complaints!
I stayed one night. Room lovely, warm and friendly. Staff at reception very friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel Bar Food & breakfast excellent and with a great variety and plenty of room to sit. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I will be going to Dublin again at the end of the month and would not stay anywhere else. Bredina
We stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday, we enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable and well run hotel. We feel we got good value for money, breakfast was great with lots of options and the dining area was large so not too packed. All the staff we dealt with were helpful and professional.
2-day stay. (a) Toilet rolls & shampoos / bodywash (miniture bottles) not replenished after day no.1. (b) Shampoo dispenser in Shower / Bath unit empty throughout stay. (c) Clerk on desk tried (presumably unintentionally) to overcharge us on checking out. Breakfast good. Hotel ambience very nice. A little difficult to reach by car, but o'k with practice. Would be good value, except for a, b & c above.
This is a great little hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms are good, breakfast is very impressive, so much choice. Luas right next to it and a short taxi ride to city centre.
Great hotel for a dublin stay. Luas line is actually only one minute away now . The central park stop. Breakfast scrumptious, ambience great. Staff helpful and courteous. Very pleasent stay. Thank lidl breaks. Will stay again.
EXCELLENT VALUE. SUPER BREAKFAST.COMPLIMENTARY FREE PARKING.OVERALL AN EXCELLENT STAY.
my husband and I stayed on Sat 12th Dec. Check in staff very efficient and nice. room very spacious, looked newly painted. Everything very clean and comfortable. Dinner was included in our deal and the restaurant staff were v friendly. food was delicious and breakfast was excellent...much better than it used to be when it was a Bewley's Hotel. All in all we had a lovely trip and would definitely stay again .
Very clean Hotel with a a very good Restaurant All staff were plesant and very helpful. We stayed 2 nights with friends of ours. Again our friends agreed with our awarding "Four Star Standards" We found also that the Luas Line _ which is 10 minute walk from the Hotel - Central Park Station. Excellant in going too and from the City of Dublin. @ St Stephens Green Station. This being one of the most polular shopping area - within the City of Dublin. We will return and inform our friends of a very cost effective deal by "Lidl's Breaks"and the Clayton Hotel and Staff @ Leopardstown . **** F & M
Charged two times to my Card (only discovered this after stay). Be warned you will have to pay for parking which will be an additional 15e per night. Ordered pizza to room in the evening and it was extremely hard and dry. In fairness the rooms are grand but beware of hidden add ons. Friendly staff too.
Very pleasant stay. Location is perfect for easy access to city centre. Luas is very near the hotel so no need to drive and find car parking. The only minus is the price of drinks. A bit pricey even by hotel standards. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.
Most of the staff had great customer service. room was far to hot could not sleep and had to sleep with an open window listening to traffic. food wasnt great at all averge. and parking cost 10.00 on top of what we already paid for our stay cocktails far to over priced at over 12.00.
Lovely 2 night stay , brekie n dinner superb, staff very friendly, 4 star
3.5 stars overall -comfortable room pleasant staff underground car park - easy access good quality breakfast stopped serving bar food at 10 pm
It is obvious that the new owners are anxious to impress us old patrons with their attention to detail. Fortunately there is very little that needs tweaking. The hotel never rested on its laurels or it's assets, location, location, within 150 metres to Luas which permits you to leave your car behind if you wish, and Terminus to the Blue Bus to the airport which can be boarded at any hour of the night/morning without getting wet or blown away. We have always liked it very much for it's efficiency, courtesy and good value. Just had three great nights there. Deserves the fourth star..
great location for anyone travelling from the country, easy to find off the M50 and luas stop outside hotel so no need to take car into town.basic enough hotel but for the price i paid very good value.comfy bed good shower great breakfast. Dinner average enough but would definetely stay here again due to the location and value for money.
Family of 4. Stayed for 1 night. Perfect for our needs. Nice clean room with wifi. Lovely breakfast selection- one of the best I've had. Will stay again.
Desk staff brusque and efficient Room very good Breakfast very good Location difficult to find
Great location near the Luas makes it easy to get to Dundrum Centre. Nice big rooms, clean & modern. Underground parking just €10 so with Lidl Breaks price of €78 B&B, its a bargain. Lovely breakfast - everything you could possibly want, up to 10.30am weekdays.
Great value for money. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast good.
Have stayed here many times before and always found it reasonable and would rate it 5 star, This time though the experience wasn't positive - the room was excessively hot even though I turned the heat off at 3pm on check in. The lobby and bar were excessively loud so there was no where to go to get out of the heat and relax. The noise from the road outside just added to the mix and eventhough we eventually got a fan for our room our sleep was distrurbed and limited. I would normally rate this high for a good family stay but not this time. On the plus the breakfast was nice.
Fab Hotel! Great location! Wonderful and friendly staff especially the night staff. Thanks so much for a great night away!!
Irish Rail Breaks and couldn't be better. On a busy bank holiday weekend hotel was buzzing. Check in experience fantastic Was attending a funeral in the area so was ideal Luas was within walking distance to city centre which was about a 20 min ride. Rooms were spotless clean. Had dinner in hotel one night. Fish and chips fab. Breakfast buffet and loads of everything. Check out very pleasant as girl at reception said " Thank you for your stay and called me by name in which I thought was very nice. Will be back to the Clayton Hotel again and would highly recommend Irish Rail Breaks and Hotels in one
Customer service & facilities excellent at this hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, especially at its handy location for South Dublin and its competitive rates.
Bin was full of someone elses rubbish, hadn't been cleaned since last occupant. Didn't realise you had to pay 10eur for parking, bit excessive considering the location, I could accept if this was city centre. Breakfast was alright. No fridge in room. Get what you pay for I guess, but I'd prefer to stay in a B&B for same price over this.
Lovely hotel with great location. Great food but expensive with drinks and snacks (2.50 for a small pack of peanuts). Stayed with kids and very disappointed with lack of WiFi in the room. Would definitely stay again
Very enjoyable stay. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Family room is a great size. Kids enjoyed it. Great location for shopping in Dundrum. Will be back!!
Room comfortable & staff friendly. Restaurant was busy when we arrived down for breakfast. Layout could be improved to avoid multiple queuing for different courses. There is a charge for overnight parking which is off-putting. Good value apart from the parking charge. KC
Amazing Hotel, Food was 1st class and the service! Would highly reccomend and also had a child with us and was great for him to. Will stay again in the future.
Just brill
Rooms were very warm if we opened windows at night it was to noisy from road traffic bathroom was not that clean damp smell the only thing that was good was the breakfast and the really good Thai restaurant near by
Hi, I felt that as we didn't book through the hotel website, we were given a poor/inferior room. It was very disappointing, an adjoining room, when we are a couple, not a family. I did put in a comment on booking that it was a birthday present + a nice room if possible, as we had a lovely room on our previous stay (booked through hotel site), but I don't think they bothered reading it. Small things, like soap tube not working, kettle was filthy inside, so this wasn't checked on housekeeping. So, we were not valued as guests. I would like to hear your response, kind regards. I can be contacted via the email address you have for me. (bluebabycathy@gmail.com). I'm sending this email address for you to have, not for the public)
Always a great stay!
We stayed in Bewleys Hotel Leopardstown on the 18th April. The room was nice and clean, bed very comfortable, breakfast was nice but could have been hotter, it would have helped if the plates were kept hot. Staff and service was very good. We were very disappointed when we had to pay for car parking, in other hotels its free. But we will go back again. M. A.
The price was reasonable and the breakfast ok. The staff were busy but friendly. However, there was NO HOT OR EVEN WARM WATER ON SUNDAY MORNING FROM 10AM TO 11.40 AM ( 19TH April 2015) . I wanted to wash my hair so waited until 11.40am and still no hot water. Then there were works on LUAS which meant had to get out at Beechwood and get bus to Stephens Green. Just as well left plenty time to get train.
The hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable .The breakfast was cold.! The plates were very cold to start. and the method of keeping the food hot needs to really improve.! I felt I couldn't send it back to the kitchen to be microwaved .(This tends to upset the chef !!) On the Saturday night that we stayed, the bar resembled a creche right up until the time we left it and this was past midnight.!
Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Sraff very friendly and helpful. The only criticism would be the poor selection of tv channels. Plus in other hotels I have stayed in there was always a card showing what tv channel was tuned to the tv numbers
We arrived on 13/03/15 left on 15/03/15 from the moment we arrived it was service with a smile, The food was great , our room was great , the food was great , we enjoyed our stay in bewleys , we are coming back again next weekend. John f
Stayed one night staff very friendly fabulous meal best fillet steak I've ever had ! Nice relaxing drinks in bar , room nice no complaints breakfast very good , will stay here again ☺
Went for a weekend break with my fiancé, the room was spacious and quiet so had a good night sleep! However it was stuffy due to a lack of air con, not to mention €4 for a bottle of water in the room. After having already paid 10 euro just to park overnight (usually included as standard in other hotels), this seemed a bit much.. Breakfast was good and a decent however the chefs did not seem friendly.
WE HAD A LOVELY STAY LAST WEEKEND. THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESS AND VERY COMFORTABLE. THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT AND IT WAS GREAT VALUE. .I WOULD HAPPILY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FRIENDS.
Nice clean and comfortable room and in a very convenient location near the M50 and allowed easy access to local area. Staff were friendly, however I was not informed about breakfast times and location at check in which is unusual and I was not very clear on the parking arrangements at the hotel until I had made two or three visits to reception. Breakfast was good, but the biggest let down was the parking which is very expensive at €10 per night (this was not made very clear when booking either so it was a nasty shock). I also had several issues with the ticket machines when leaving the hotels parking such as eating a ticket that was meant to be good for my 3 day stay and not accepting the ticket when I was leaving after checking out.
Excellent hotel great breakfast. Location ideal just 100 mtrs from the Luas line. Its just a 2 minute drive to the motorway. Staff were excellent
great price, super value. The staff were friendly and very professional.
Hi we enjoyed our stay very good value for money, we would have liked some entertainment on the night as it was a bit boring in the bar, we would go back again as we did enjoy our own company, and the food and service was good.
We stayed here for a shopping trip to Dundrum. Very convenient location close to the M50 and Dundrum shopping centre. Hotel modern , food was fine and rooms were clean and spacious. We were happy with our stay
Clean rooms, helpful staff, great parking facility, good breakfast. All round very good!
truly enjoyable stay, very well catered for, had a great family mid term break in October 2014,great friendly staff who were on hand 24/7 and only too happy to help, excellent location, very close to the luas line where all amenities are minutes away. Will be back soon
We stayed here October 14. It was a total nightmare. Our room was dirty, we needed extra pillows, the bed linen was torn, the mattress of the 'sofa bed' was torn, there were black marker stains on the towels. Despite notifying the reception staff on numerous occasions, none of the issues were rectified. We had 2 meals in the restaurant - the food was cold and was sent back only to be re-heated. On our second evening the occupants of the rooms adjacent to ours ordered take aways, pizza, chinese and when they were finished with their food, they left their trays/take away cartons outside their rooms on the ground. The following day when we were checking out, all trays remained on the floor, along with empty glasses and wine bottles. It was disgusting. Cleanliness in the hotel is not paramount. Really didn't enjoy our stay there and definitely won't be returning. Not good value for money.
great hotel in a great area luas to city centre just a short walk away. staff very helpful and friendly. will definitely stay here again
I was very pleased with the hotel, the staff were so helpful and nice, food was excellent, my one complaint (and to me it is a very big drawback) is that a guest has to pay for parking, this seems to me that the guest is completely at the mercy of the hotel as few of us arrive on foot.
Thought hotel was lovely and bedrooms excellent. Food was excellent.Only downside was price of drinks (7.05 for glass of wine) and also making guests pay 10 euro per night for car park a bit much. 10 euro for entire stay would be sufficient.
Great hotel used for accessing m50, easy Access to so much. Two adults and two children. Rooms comfortable. Food was good and catered was coeliac friendly.
stayed with family for the dinner bed and breakfast option for 2 nights mid august. good hotel, the luas stop being a short walk away makes it a great location for easy access to the city. The family room was a good size clean and good linen. Breakfast was self-service and very good, evening meal limited enough choice but very good and well-prepared food and generous portions. nice bar with reasonable prices for a dublin hotel. Staff effecient and waitress who looked after us for evening meals was lovely. great value break for anyone wanting to visit the city
This hotel is good value for money breakfast was very good staff could be a little friendlier in the restuarant the two girls on teas and coffees and the till were a little abrupt when I asked for a second cup of coffee. Overall a nice stay
All staff were friendly in particular the restaurant staff. Food was lovely. Our room was clean and bright. There was parking space for the car. We would go back again.
Lovely bright, clean hotel. Hotel staff were very nice. Room were spacious. The rooms were very hot at night and it was too noisy (traffic) to leave the window open. During the night we had to give in to noise and open window. The one thing they may change is the layout of the breakfast. Its a pity that milk/sugar/butter is not on the table and that the waitress does not serve tea/coffee to the table. When you have kids you are up and down constantly and it takes a few runs to have breakfast. Each time you have to check through the waitress on the till. All in all it is a lovely hotel and will definitely use it again.
Great value.Clean Room.Staff helpful and friendly.Scrumptious breakfast. Cark parking fee excessive.
very bad experience, arrived last saturday and had booked 3 family rooms, 2 adults and 2 kids in each room, 2 out of the 3 rooms had not enough beds, when went to reception to com[lain was told that we only booked for 6 adults and no kids as i had my documentation with me that proved that we had booked as i said, had to wait half hour to speak to someone about changing rooms, eventually got moved , came back that night to be greeted by other guests in new room that was allocated, complete disater of a stay never go back again
My Family and I really enjoyed our visit to Bewley Hotel, Leopardstown, Staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. The hotel was excellent and very comfortable and homely. I have already book an other stay in the near future
Great hotel, delighted to have a bathtub as requested when booked. Breakfast scrumptious, spotless rooms. staff friendly, good location. Would recommend this hotel
Staff at reception, bar restaurant waitress and breakfast staff most helpful.
Good value.Room clean.Staff accomodating. Cark parking fee excessive.
we stayed four nights bed and breakfast at this hotel .rooms very clean and spacious hotel very peacefull . breakfast excellent food fresh and well cooked . hotel beside luas so easy to get ito city .we really enjoyed our stay .and were pleased with the lidl breaks offer.
We have stayed in Bewleys many times and yet again we were not disappointed. Great location on the luas line, spotless rooms, scrumptious breakfast and most definitely efficient staff. Would especially like to mention both girls at reception on Easter Sunday evening, who went out of their way to help us in a slight medical emergency with our son. They were magnificent in finding a pharmacy near by. Overall, a great base for any type of vacation.
Wonderful stay, food was excellent - dinner on Friday night was superb and the service was first class. The hearty Irish Breakfast was delicious and set us up for our day. Room was really comfortable and staff were so courteous and helpful, all our needs were catered for. We will certainly be back again.
Booked a double room, was allocated a twin. I requested a change. We were moved to a disabled room. That's fine, a shower is a shower. However the 'double bed' in the room (154) was tiny and wad obviously a temporary bed (it was on wheels). Pillows, of which there were only 2 instead of 4, were a bit thin. Other than that however, the food was great. We had salmon and hake in the Brasserie. My starter of chicken skewers with salsa dip was tasty, as was my chocolate tart dessert. Bookmakers bar is comfy spot for a drink before bed. Finally, breakfast was excellent, I had the full Irish, Kileen yoghurts were great, plenty of pastries, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall, good value. Only disappointment was the bed.
Enjoyed our break in Bewleys. Spacious room, spotlessly clean. Very good location, within short distance of Luas, which made access to Dundrum shopping centre and Grafton St. very accessable. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay in Bewleys again.
I stay a lot with Bewelys and had the night before too in Newlands Cross. I was disappointed with this , lovely hotel and staff very pleasant but the room i was on the 6th floor and the noise from the heating system or something was unreal all night i could hardly sleep at all Very disappointed as i had a show 5 mins down the road for work and i got hardly any sleep
Very good value for a hotel with such a convenient location. The 2 minute walk to the Luas stop really is a big plus for this hotel. We didn't have dinner in the hotel, so can't comment on the food served at night. Breakfast, however was very good. Nice variety of fruit, cereals & of course the essential fry! The room we stayed in was fine. It was clean & nicely decorated. As with all Bewleys Hotels, they provide an all-in-one handwash / bodywash / shampoo in their bathrooms. It's perfectly adequate, but maybe it might be no harm to pack some hair conditioner in your overnight bag. Any staff members we encountered were professional and courteous. I would stay in this hotel again.
I liked everything about this hotel . It was clean , room lovely and spacious and the breakfast was delicious .
In a few words our stay was shockingly bad we won't be back in a hurry am very disappointed,
Very pleased with our stay in Bewleys .Breakfast very good.Rooms very clean and tidy.Staff helpful .
Lovely hotel to stay in. Very convenient. Nice friendly staff. Stay there any time I travel to Dublin.
we arrived on new years eve. the que for check in was extremely long but no staff were there to walk the que and apologise for the delay. when we got to check in, the guest service manager was not very welcoming, took our credit card details and sent us to our room. no details were given on the hotel facailites or about breakfast times and check out. the food was unedible in the restaurant my husband had salamon and was all slimy and i had chicken and pasta dish which was laced in salt and sickening to eat. im sorry but i would not recommend this hotel at all
Everything was perfect Five Star RATING
I would recommend this Hotel great location just off the M50 especially for people from the West of Ireland plenty of parking underground and you can catch the Luas public Transport just around the corner in to the centre of Dublin.Comfortable beds and great choice for Breakfast you can also have Dinner and snacks. I keep going back there cant fault it Slainte.
Bedroom was small. Bath towels were truly tiny. Water pressure was poor.
The hotel staff done a brilliant job.it was my birthday,so we booked the hotel to stay.the restaurant accommodated us at short notice.the bar staff set a side an area so that we could all be together. produced 2 platters of sandwiches again with short notice.excellent service, very clean and great value for our stay.
Hotel and food was adequate. Parking was a joke on the Saturday night of our stay as there was not sufficient car parking spaces and there was cars parked in bad spots and also on the roadway between the levels of the car park..... obviously no fault of the car owners!!!!! There was a completly empty car park which im sure belongs to the hotel. The main beef was that we were overcharged by almost €20...... we were charged €78 per room per night and had booked the room on the Today FM Breaks website for €70 per room per night. I did notice the error until I had returned home and as of now I am still waiting for the hotel contact me!!
This was our second time to stay, though not as good as the 1st. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were great. Downside: The bathroom only had 1 bathtowel and 1 handtowel and we had to ring for extra towels as there were none in the cabinet. Paying for parking is another downside. If you go there to eat only, you get free parking, but if you stay the night, you have to pay. We will go back again for sure as the value for BB and diner was excellent.
Great Deal and the hotel was ideal for our visit. *******
did enjoy our stay. the girl who served us in the bar was friendly. will definitely go back...
Check in was seamless, the staff were excellent.
Enjoyed our stay . Great value....however watch out for car park charges!
Stayed here last weekend. Usually impressed with the hotel but last weekend the linen on one of the beds was torn, the duvet and cover left a lot to be desired and towels had holes in them. One particular staff member in the restaurant was extremely rude. Food is overpriced and service left a lot to be desired. Will think twice before booking this hotel again.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Good size room and very comfortable. Staff very helpful and breakfast was good. We were going to the 02 and the bus service from outside the hotel was very good. Would certainly use lidlbreaks again as this was excellent value for money. 3 stars from me
Hotel staff very frenziedly from check in to check out, rooms very clean with very little noise, will sty in this hotel when in Dublin as perfect with luas walking distance for going out in Dublin are going shopping Eddie
My husband and I along with our two children stayed here and went to a concert in the AVIVA the package included family room bed breakfast & evening meal, it was excellent value for money. The hotel provided underground parking for a small fee and they had an excellent arrangement with a coach company that had set up in the lobby we were able to purchase return tickets on a bus to the concert which brought us from and directly back to the hotel. The staff were friendly and the facilities were fit for purpose - the standard and quality of meals was very good I would certainly recommend the hotel as a convenient location and I would certainly rate TodayFM breaks as excellent value for money, I have been endorsing Today FM breaks to all my family & friends since I returned.
Dear sir, We have just experienced four very enjoyable days at Bewleys Leopardstown. From the start of our visit to our last the staff were always very pleasant and accomodating. Our room was clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent both in regarding to price and quality. As we come from Spain and value for money is very high on our requirements the hotel offered excellent value for money in comparison to others through the LIDL offer. One slight criticism related to the menu we would have preferred to have had more options to include salad daily. We also were not aware that there was a gymnasium, which we would have utilised. Over all I would give the hotel, 9 staff 10 quality 9 value for money 10 menu choice 8. It was most enjoyable and we would defintely return again and highly recommend to others. John
Enjoyed the stay,
The stay in the hotel was excelent and the evening meal was worth having
Staff are friendly Food is good The rooms are comfortable and there is little or no noise Location is close to a Luas, so 20 mins journey into city center as well as being very close to M50
Will stay there again :)
Close to M50 and luas - room fine. Not near anything else and not much entertainment in hotel.
Bewleys Leopardstown was ideal for weekend stay recently. Very easily access from M50. Stayed on B&B and Dinner basis at rate of €49.50 per person per night. Stay was very pleasant from check in to room & food. Inner room on 7th floor was very quiet. Very near Central Park Luas stop, ideal for shopping in Dundrum or city centre. Only negative was that parking cost €8 per night & bar area was not warm enough. Would recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
The hotel has recently undergone renovation in the bar area, and it looks great. The staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style - it was just ok. I find that buffet breakfast is rarely HOT by the time you get to the table!t! Fresh fruit would be a improvement! The rate I paid was very reasonable, and being 5 min walk from Luas gives great accessibility for Dublin. I would certainly book this hotel again if the rates remain
We really enjoyed our stay in Bewleys Hotel, Leopardstown last weekend. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We will definately be returning soon.
very good value for money, staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable and well kept, nice buzz about the place, but not too noisy i will definitely go back.
I was very happy with the deal from Today FM Breaks, not sure if I had been as happy if I had paid the full price as on the hotel website. The room was big and clean with unexpected sea view, but you could hear movement etc from the other rooms. Breakfast and the croissants in particular were absolutely lovely, nicest croissants I ever had in town.
nice hotel. clean and comfortable. not a proper double bed which was a bit of a pain. had to pay for car parking which wasnt stated initially.
jb stayed here new years eve, we had dinner in restaurant which was very nice and good value, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly, 8 euro charge for parking not on website otherwise great value on lidl breaks,
Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Family room was a little crowded with four, and 4th bed(converted couch) was not of good quality. Ventilation in the room was poor. Breakfast was very good and staff were very nice and efficient. Overall the hotel was good value for a family.
Ok I did a good review of this hotel a few weeks ago but after our second stay I am not so happy. When we were there 5 weeks ago, I double checked our reservation for this weekend & was assured all was in order yet when we arrived on Saturday they had to trace of our reservation. Lucky I could access the reservation confirmation on my phone & show it to her. Anyway we got to our room & all was well until about 10:30pm when the loudest music started. No exaggerating, I could make out the songs over sound of the TV! My husband was in the bar so I rang down & he said it was a Xmas party & the music was extremely loud. I could txt him the names of the songs they were playing & we were on the 2nd floor. The manager was apologetic & tried to relocate us (first to a room right beside the lift where we would have got no sleep either) but we ended up in 2 separate rooms as they had no more family rooms. We eventually got to sleep @ 12:30 after a very frustrating 2 hours. Lots of other people were complaining. It appears to me that the area where they had the party (the main bar) was not intended for loud music or it would have been soundproofed when it was built? If they insist on having extremely loud music, they should warn guests on check in. If I had know I would be staying above a nightclub U woukd have gone elsewhere. It was unbelievably loud! As a gesture they gave us free parking but to honest it wasn't enough, I would never stay here again. They can't just cater for the Xmas party & ignore their other guests needs...
Second time staying in this Bewleys Hotel and I still cant fault it. The service and food were excellent, rooms were spotless. Great location for shopping in Dundrum, the luas is only 2 mins down the road. The only downside is the paid parking, there really needs to be some concession for when you are staying in the hotel.
Stayed here for one night in a family room. The room was clean, good temperature & had a double , a single & a pull out sofa bed (probably 4" wide) so plenty of space. The breakfast was very nice, hash browns & mushrooms lovely (these are extras you don't always get in a 3*) & lovely fresh large croissants! The lidl deal makes this a very good price, €78 you cannot go wrong, in fact we have booked again for next month as we have a family gathering to attend. If I had only one fault it was that I felt the bar area was a bit soulless, too big and open, no cost feel but we were with our kids so we weren't looking for a great night out!
Room very spacious and comfortable, bathroom spotless. Food was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
was a nice hotel with helpful receptionist but was seriously unimpressed with the parking a it did not state on website that parking had to be paid for. site also stated that it was near city, zoo etc but we were on outskirts of dulin and was quite a drive to get where we wanted to go so this also didnt impress me besides that rooms were clean and tidy and was an ok stay but admit i was disappointed as it was very different to description on website - ideal if on business trip or something but with kids who want to shop and se zoo it is not ver ideal
This is a fabulous hotel, it should definitely should be at least a four star. It is fantastically clean. The rooms are fresh and airy. You can open the window and get fresh air into the room. The staff are very friendly. The food in the restaurant was also beautiful and good value. The rate for b and b is also super value. We have stayed here several times before and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms great size with everything spotless. Great value break hope to go again! Thanks......
Fantastic value for money. Friendly welcoming staff. Even though bedroom overlooked the motorway - no traffic noise because of double glazing. Very handy for airport due to Aircoach terminus at hotel.
We enjoyed our break at the hotel. It was very comfortable. The only fault I had was that despite staying overnight we had to pay a charge of %u20AC8 for the car park.
I have to sya that out stay was most enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpfull and friendly. The hotel itself was located within walking distance from the Luas which made is easy to commute in and out of the city and there was parking available in the hotel.
sinead on 30th june 2010 hotel fab and food exellent. staff very helpful and polite. not impressed with having to pay for parking, never encountered that before. great deal thanks lidl !!!
We were very happy with Bewleys Leopardstown. Rooms were very roomy and comfortable and staff very friendly. The restaurant was lovely and bright and the food was excellent.
