The Hotel in on Strandhill road in the centre of Sligo near Train station.
The distinctively shaped Benbulben, steeped in Irish Folklore, is famous around the world as an icon of Sligo. Overlooking Sligo Town, and part of the Dartry Mountain Range, this stunning Mountain is definitely worth a visit
Great staff, spotless room and lovely bar. Wpuld stay again.
We had a wonderful say at the Great Southern Sligo. Rooms, facilities, staff were fantastic. It is so close to all the amenities, beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping centres. Great entertainment at the weekends in the bar, could not find fault at all. Kids loved the pool. Will definitely be returning, well done to all and thank you.
We are regular visitors to the Sligo Great Southern and find it very convenient for the train and bus station. The hotel is being gradually refurbished, which is great. It is very comfortable and we will certainly return.

Hotel is old and could do with a cash injection. However it is clean and comfortable. The food is good and it is very centrally located. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
