Castlemartyr village is set amongst picturesque woodland, in east Cork. The village is quaint and has a range of archaeological sites, reflecting virtually every era in the country's history. There is a terrific Village Greengrocers, with a bakery and a choice of artisan foods, a village café and a traditional country style pub, serving food. Castlemartyr Resort is located just 1.5km from the village.

Area Description Our holiday lodges and Mews are in close proximity to Cork city (30km) making access easy through Cork Airport where car hire can be arranged. Ballymaloe café, restaurant and Cookery School (10km) is situated on 100 acres of organic farmland in the rolling countryside of East Cork, where visitors can enjoy the lovely farm shop selling their produce. Golfers will enjoy the challenging 18 hole golf course adjacent to the lodges, noted as one of the best golf courses in Ireland.
