“Arrived to discover they never sent a email with qr code for to collect the key. After struggling trying to figure this out I went to desk to be left waiting while both were on phone. Checked in went to room. Room was grand small double and single not what I was expecting from double deluxe room. Was expecting bigger double bed. Bed and pillows comfy. Air con in room works grand and ya can open top part of window. The shower and hand basin makes noise like fog horn on a ship when ya turn them on actually deafing and it wasn't just our room we could hear the rooms next door when they were using their shower etc too. Very frustrating when your asleep and when your using shower. Then it drips all night tap tap tap drive ya mad if ya didn't have bathroom door closed. Housekeeping wasn't great nice girl on first day made beds and gave towels nothing else second morning was woke from my sleep by loud knocking from Housekeeping to be told il call later. Ordered eggs first morning to never arrive”

“Location good However, only found our when checking in that there would be no porridge available and no hot food until 7.3pam. I asked foe my rate to be amended to room only, this was not done. I had to buy my porridge in Tesco and ate I my room. I only booked hotel as it was on marathon recommendations but they were not catering foe marathon early breakfast”

“A comedy of errors possibly made worse with Spring time change. One of three rooms not ready on arrival at 15:45hrs. 16:15hrs advised another 55 mins till room available- desk clerk gave us another room. Next morning, room cards wouldn't work in lifts or room doors, had room key reset x 2 on 3rd time worked in both lift and room. Wasted 35 minutes. Given a late check out to 11:30! to compensate for room not ready on time. Between the electronic and room service problems, I felt sorry for the desk staff, as we were not the only rooms affected with the time change. Bathrooms need attention for cleaning and repairs, we did not complain as the desk staff had enough to deal with (who were very polite and resilient). Breakfast was lovely, staff replenished cooked breakfast at 10:00hrs, fresh poached eggs to order, few gluten free choices and pastries were finished at 10am. Great location hotel for centre, though distance to SSE Arena/Oddessy too far for kids to walk. Overall 3/5.”

“The room was stuffy and couldn't figure out air conditioning and was no window opening. Booked resteraunt deal for the Friday night and was awful. Was only main course and drink. Poor options so I ended up having beef burger and my husband had pizza FOR £25 each was so expensive and was just okay. We ordered starters of wings and garlic bread. Wings were horrid and then dessert we ordered strawberry meringue.and warm chocolate pudding which wasn't warm and strawberry meringue was full of nuts which didn't appear on menu. We paid an additional £41.50 it was very very expensive for the items offered. Meal was up on £100 and was so very disappointed. Would definitely not recommend going for dinner. Breakfast was exceptional though and the spread of food was amazing.”

“Hotel is in good location for the city. parking is £12 for 24 hrs in a nearby car park. Breakfast wasn't available 1 of the mornings due to unforseen circumstances. I had to ask for money back as we got no brekafast and I only got £7.50 per person. I had paid £330 for 2 nights for bed and breakfast.”

“This hotel is perfectly adequate for a short stay. The rooms are quite basic, not much storage but clean. Our television wasn't working, but that didn't matter to us. The bathroom was quite worn but plenty of hot water, toiletries etc The location is very good, right in the city centre, with lots to do in the area. We were greeted by friendly helpful staff and we were able to check in early. The breakfast was very nice. I would return to this hotel the next time I was in Belfast.”

“I Would highly recommend this hotel. We had a lovely stay . Staff were very welcoming and professional. The rooms were very cosy and spotless clean. Location was perfect in the centre off everything and within walking distance. The car park is nit on site but is 10minutes walk across the Road . It cost 24 pound to stay fir 2 days card payment only. Highly recommend to all.”

We had a lovely mini break. Only negative was the price of drinks at the bar- my husband had a pint of Peroni and I had a glass of wine - was pretty stunned that it came to £16.00!!!!”

When she did get around to us she was very rude and it seemed an inconvenience fir her to attend to us . Apart from that rude receptionist, the staff were excellent and and very friendly and professional.”
