Great hotel in a fantastic location. We got a complimentary upgrade due to it being our anniversary and had a beautiful view from our room. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection. Staff were mostly great, special shout out to the security guards who were all lovely lads. Can't wait to go back for another visit
Lovely hotel beautiful view of the river & close to the centre
It will be fantastic when the Shannon bridge is opened and when the hotel employs a grounds person to clean up the outside areas of the hotel. Moss, leaves and mud in car park. Outside windows and some walls covered in green mould. Staff and breakfast are excellent.
Very good leisure service, bar service and breakfast. Ideal if it had jacuzzi. Nice and friendly staff
Hotel in central location, service was good, will go back, rooms were comfortable
lovely hotel friendly staff great breakfast
Lovely hotel staff and food. Found light in room not good enough for me. Toilet in bathroom to low found it hard to get up as I have arthritis in my knees. Door stop in front of toilet dangerous. Every thing else was fine .
Room was very nice. Food was OK. Bar staff not very helpfull and left me feeling that I was putting them out. Shame, as otherwise I would have left a good review
Lovely stay, staff very nice.
Nice hotel with decent sized rooms. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Meal waw lovely in the restaurant. Hot breakfast was disappointing cheap sausages, rashers, beans etc
Nice hotel good location .breakfast and food in bar was very nice .got room at front of hotel didn't get much sleep for 3 nights I was there as very noisy out side hotel .but I would go back as I enjoyed my stay
Lovely hotel, comfortable bed. Very helpful staff in the restaurant and bar.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean. Bit disappointed with the food in the restaurant, had the southern fried chicken burger, it was a bit overcooked and dry, very little flavour, seemed to be very short staffed in this area.
Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent location. Receptionist checking in was extremely polite and helpful.
All good, room nice, comfortable & warm. Food in bar & breakfast fate was very good. Enjoyed experience.
Staff really friendly and helpful
Service in Brasserie was haphazard. Waiter failed to return to take dessert orders. On sitting down first we weren't approached by waiter/waitress and had to ask for a menu.
I cant recommend this hotel highly enough, from the start, the lady who checked us in, i think her name was Lauren, so helpful and nice, the room was very spacious, bed was massive and very clean, food in the restaurant, had a great night away, thank you very much
Lovely food ,very clean ,friendly staff and heated bathroom floor ,breakfast very good
This is my 3rd stay here hotel is lovely and close to town food breakfast very good evening not as good as morning time
The hotel was clean bedrooms large and clean the bar was a different story they had no gas for Guinness I waited 20 minutes for barman to come and tell me they had no tomato juice for my friend and when we ordered food when it came it was cool like the bar staff didn't know what they where doing just need a bit more training so I'll give it 7 out of 10
We arrived late so didn't have time for a swim. Room was all we expected. Hotel is ideally situated on river Bank and close to Old Town.
Lovely relaxed stay for my daughters birthday..Staff were great..Room was comfortable but abit too warm at night..tried contacting hotel a few times before our trip but no reply email or the promise by phone but otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Check in was a disaster -my advise would be prepared for a long wait. However ,having said that I could only praise everything else. The bedroom was immaculate -we did have issue several times with our card not accessing the room door but reception changed it immediately for us each time. The room was bright & airy & there was a retractable clothes line over the bath which was great for swim gear. Only comment re that bed was that it was 2 singles pushed together ,so, if you were misfortunate enough to roll over to the joining during the night ,it was raised & also opened & you ended up in a hollow space -simply needs a matress topper to rectify this. The highest praise has to go to the breakfast menu -worthy of any 5* hotel -great choice ,all fresh & accommodating to both continental & Irish breakfast as well as dairy free options. We were extremely impressed & the staff were professional & helpful.
