  • “Our stay at The Doolin Hotel was very pleasant indeed. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, with fresh homemade produce available. Even though the restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday, The bar menu was very good. Breakfast was outstanding. The complimentary drink on arrival was a nice touch, but an alcoholic drink would be even nicer. I definitely would reccomend this hotel to anyone vacating in Doolin.”

  • “The hotel itself is lovely, with a friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent as is the bar area, though the Guinness was poor. The only problem was that it was very cold throughout the building. We arrived after a long journey and found the foyer to be freezing. Yes its great value, but would not recommend it throughout the winter months for this reason. We did complain on the evaluation form and through the receptionist. She agreed with our assessment, and promised to pass on our message to the management. Whether someone is paying 5 or 500 euro for a room, warmth in the middle of December on the west coast of Clare should be guaranteed.”
