Nice relaxing hotel with lovely veiw of the sea Very nice staff
Small personal hotel in a stunning location on the waterfront. Excellent food in the restaurant, chowder and calamari delicious, you'd sit for hours there soaking up the view. Rooms well turned out, modern bathrooms with normal and rainshower heads in a large double sized enclosure. Crisp clean linen, but the mattress protectors needed laundering or replacing.
Very relaxing stay. Friendly and helpful staff.
Good location Friendly staff great food
Lovely small hotel with lovely views over the water. Staff were very friendly and the food Wes of a good standard. The hotel was clean and bright and I would stay again. Great value on bargain breaks.

Nice hotel which is definitely on the "waters edge". NIce roomy bedroom. Quiet hotel, We weren't able to get a room on the river side but it was nice all the same. Bar/restaurant is nice. All meals are there as its a small place. It's really well located for the town. Near the train station. Nice friendly staff and good selection of beer on tap. Recommended.
Beautiful location on the water front, lovely staff, very comfortable room Welcoming restaurant highly recommended

Stayed here last weekend for a short break. Beautiful hotel very clean and decor lovely. Room was overlooking the sea with views. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Will definately be back and will recommend to my friends. Five stars ! Marie - Wexford 8th October 2014
We stayed here for one night. The room and hotel were very good. Our breakfast was freshly made and delicous. We would stay at this hotel again. I would give this hotel 4 stars
This is a little gem of a hotel. We found the staff friendly and very helpful. It's an ideal place to spend a weekend away, the rooms are well equipped and the sitting area, although small is very comfortable in front of an open fire. Most rooms overlook the sea where the liners, ferries and trawlers pass close by. The food was quite good and the breakfast was excellent. Overall we would recommend it.
We stayed in The Watersedge Hotel for a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Lidl Break on 13th February 2013. This was a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. We arrived early and our room was not ready so Hazel treated us to free coffee in the lounge area. The room was excellent with a fabulous view of Cork Harbour, Haulbouline and Spike Island. The dinner was from the hotel menu (no cheap alternative for Lidl Breaks) and the menu, the quality and the service was first class and could not be faulted. The breakfast was superb and I asked for porridge as a starter and that was not a problem. There was no pressure to leave our room even at 12.15pm (this may be different at busy times). We called again in the afternoon for coffee and we had one seafood platter for €7.85 which was enough for us both. The Manager David and his wife (assistant Manager) Aga could not be more helpful and Hazel could hold a class on the history of the area. Overall our experience was excellent and I have no doubt we'll be back. Paddy & Marie O'Leary
